I did testing with this weapon and was surprised how high its projectile damage is. The projectile actually does a lot of damage and costs *zero* FP you just spend 32 FP (or 24 FP with the talisman you get from Iji) to energize the weapon for a minute and get free projectile attacks during that time, and you can always offhand the Sacrificial Axe (4 FP per kill) and/or just equip the ancestral talisman (3 FP per kill) to quickly get back all of that FP.
