Definitely recommend the chocolate mousse if you do end up going, but honestly the experience left me a little sour. I mentioned this to the new waiter, and they replaced the spinach and covered our dessert for the trouble (which is why this review is 3 stars and not 1 or 2), but for some reason, still refused to do anything about the potatoes. Except when we asked for our leftover sides to be wrapped, our spinach got thrown away and we were only left with the burnt potatoes. We actually never saw the waiter again after that. My wife mentions it to the waiter who then dumps them all on her plate, says "Enjoy" and walks away. Potatoes show up to our table burnt to a crisp. Typically save restaurants like this for a special occasion, but probably not again after this last experience. It was an embarrassing experience for me, as the host of my party.
The tables between parties were so close together, seat backs would hit and NOBODY was wearing a MASK, not service, not customers, nobody. It was so loud in this room, that my party could barely converse without yelling or huddling close to each other.

From that point, it took approximately another 3 hours to complete our meal as every service course was exceedingly slow. Alternating between standing outside, in the cold, and waiting in our car, it took minutes before they finally were able to seat us. When we arrived for our reservation, on-time, front of house advised that our table was not ready, would not be for some time, and could we please wait somewhere else. "I have been to Wolfgang's many times, and as always, the food is very good, however the service during my last visit was well below the standard I expect from this restaurant. A little pricy but definitely will come back again and recommend it but better make reservations because they stay packed." At the end of the night the bill came and was well over $. Another note, he specified the peppers were spicy (which we adored) but for someone who can't handle spice, it is very great service for him to express those details. We appreciated our waiter alerting us about the mixture of vegetables on the side because my boyfriend does not like mushrooms and he simply omitted that from his dish once we told him. The veal chop was accompanied with an amazing mixture of mushrooms, spicy peppers, and onions in which the waiter expressed to us upon ordering. My boyfriend tried their soup of the day lobster bisque and he ordered veal chop for dinner medium rare. My entree is always the petite filet mignon in which I order medium rare and it never disappoints. The tuna tartare is accompanied with toasted bread, cucumbers, avocado, and dressed arugula.
My favorite appetizer hands down tuna tartare. I've visited this location several times and I know that it will be a wonderful spot to take my friends and family for the years to come.
My experience was as delightful as each one prior. I recently visited on May 29th, my birthday. I love Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Somerville.
